In Loving Memory of Trustee Maxumus Fraser!
Founder & Lead Servant of Revival Church
Byron Stokes III, an 18-year-old native of Baltimore, MD, is a bold, passionate servant of Christ with a heart for revival and restoration. Currently pursuing his education, Byron has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel, mentoring the next generation, and serving his community through both spiritual leadership and practical outreach. His mission is clear: to see lives awakened, gifts ignited, and the Holy Spirit move — one soul at a time.
In December 2024, Byron received his official ordination and ministerial license under Bishop Moony of the Independent Christian Churches International, recognizing his calling and work in ministry. Later, the Credentials Committee of Youth Praise Ministries — now Revival Church — confirmed and re-ordained him under the authority of the church and its governing leadership. Byron is currently studying at the Baltimore School of the Bible, with a long-term goal of attending seminary school to deepen his theological understanding and strengthen his pastoral calling.
Byron is the visionary founder of Revival Church, a Spirit-led movement that evolved from his earlier work with Youth Praise Ministries. What started as youth outreach and virtual services has grown into a full ministry focused on deliverance, discipleship, and building Kingdom-minded leaders. His leadership inspires others to step into their purpose boldly, and he continues to gather and equip young people to serve, worship, preach, and evangelize.
Growing up, Byron’s foundation in faith was deeply influenced by his great-grandmother, Mary Jamison, who faithfully brought him to Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church every Sunday. From a young age, Byron found joy in serving, volunteering, and helping others. A video of him preaching and singing “God Sent Me” as a child still circulates — a prophetic moment that revealed what he now walks in with authority and humility.
Though young, Byron carries the fire of revival, the strength of a leader, and the humility of a servant. While he now leads Revival Church, he still serves faithfully at Ray of Hope Baptist Church, where he continues to grow, support ministry efforts, and remain grounded in community and worship.
Rooted in Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” — Byron lives to see hearts healed, lives transformed, and the power of God poured out across generations.
"I love all of you. Stay encouraged, stay on fire, and keep God first. Revival is here!"
